Born in Brazil.

After finishing Medical School in Brazil, came to the United States for her postgraduate training in Pathology -” a combination of science and visual arts” – according to Regina.

She worked  at the University of Texas Medical School, in the  Department of Pathology., for 38 years.

Started her (art) career in 1996 and worked in watercolors for many years.

Her style goes from realistic to expressionist. Often, her paintings express images seen through microscope lens.
